DNA’s ARP series is a full size rocker switch with durable construction featuring a multitude of functions. Designed for the marine, transportation, and indoor/outdoor appliance markets, it is a cost effective solution for any marine power equipment manufacturer OEM.
DNA Group, Inc offers a wide variety of various marine power management components, shock protection devices, GFCI and ALCI and controls for use in transportation applications including switches, emergency door latch mechanisms, motor controls, lighting applications, and electronic assemblies. We have been producing quality products and service since 1984. We offer in-house engineering development and support, as well as award winning customer service.
The SMART system allows a microprocessor to be custom programmed for each marine power management keypad. This allows for custom logic to be implemented into the marine power systems. The logic may include the ability to turn on multiple functions with one key press, or exclude a marine power management function while others are active. The SMART system can be programmed to implement a coded keyless starter, or other complex marine power functions. Marine power management options such as limiting accessibility to certain system functions for younger or inexperienced users are possible. Accessory function keys can be included along with open breakers so users can install their own marine power equipment such as fish finders, GPS systems, depth gauges, etc.
Electro-mechanical marine power management enclosures are also available from the DNA Group. Choose from flat cover fuse box version, or breaker box versions that are sealed with silicon boot to to reset circuit breakers. Available Breaker Values: 5,6,7,8,9,1012,15,20A. Available fuse values: 1,2,3,4,5,7.5,10,15A. Note: Input to control box should be fused at 100A max. Check if function is active only when key or keyless is unlocked. H-Bridge for reversible motors output is normally grounded and switches to 12V. Typically used for keypad power in single PME system, other pins are used for ground or network connections.
No circuit breakers to replace, no relays to fail, Power MOSFET transistors provide switching and thermal circuit protection for each electrical circuit. An on-board microcontroller allows software-selectable current protection values. Circuit faults can be reset by the touch of a keypad. The Solid State Model marine power management enclosure can be software customized like the electro-mechanical PME. Assembly is completely sealed (Ignition Protected) for maintenance-free operation and includes 16 high side switched circuits. Marine power management keypads are completely submersible and sealed from the front as well as the rear, which helps protect them from high pressure washes and extreme environmental conditions. A UV
protectent has been added to the plastic bezel and rubber keypad material to resist fading in direct sunlight.
