Current Sensing Devices

Current Sensing at the Source
A smart product deserves a smart design. But does this mean OEMs need to complicate their product designs to implement smart grid technologies? Absolutely not. Our self-contained current sensing solutions allow OEMs to easily integrate smart grid technologies into their products, without having to go back to the drawing board.

We have found that many designers and engineers have little priority or time to address packaging or manufacturability of current sensing components until the end application nears design release. At this point, it's too late. Installing or assembling an array of wound inductors, small PCB assemblies and wires in the harness can be a logistical nightmare. Any exposed device would also be subject to environmental and vibration conditions that will hasten fatigue and connection failures. By addressing both interconnection and current sensing needs at the same time, our engineered integrated solutions solve all of these issues and offer OEMs a simple and easy way to make their products smarter.

Self-Contained Plugs

Our self-contained plugs can utilize our existing building blocks of NEMA 5-15, 6-15, 5-20 or 6-20 configurations and can accommodate a variety of value added circuit configurations to deliver the solution right for your product.

Self-Contained Modules
Our self-contained modules incorporate current-sensing circuitry that allows for simplified assembly on your factory floor and robust performance in your products.

Wireless Integration
Our engineered integrated solutions can also include wireless technologies and software to deliver a package which provide the current sensor, logic and even display and/or control functionality.
